This project was one of my first apartments, Kids room to be specific was a girl’s bedroom to be designed with a provision for the second child to be kept in mind. A girl child is still a blessing for some parents. So the room was to be inspired by a fairy tale concept (Barbie home). It was a fun-filled challenge to fulfil the requirement of 3 year- old girl and to create a concept that lasts for 15 years.
A bedroom consisting of a bed with side tables to a storage unit and a wardrobe with a study table for 2 and a huge dressing table to the wall panelling to showcase the trophy’s and medal’s owned by the girl. Inspiration, creative thinking and hard work was the only key to achieve the same. For a project to be perfect, we need to keep in mind all the requirements to organise the space efficiently also think and imagine things from our clients perspective, to create a perfect plan. Sometimes it also makes you nostalgic about the beautiful things that happened. The research and inspiration for a fairy tale theme could be vague# creative kids. A lot of things were organised, finalised, assembled with sleepless nights and great satisfaction.
It was the hanging element from the ceiling with the mood lights which played a huge role not only in fulfilling the requirements but also to create a satisfactory space, technically practical to operate with ease too.
